Rock Band anyone?
Anyone else play on Xbox Live?
OK! BBT3 is on this weekend! Throughout the running of BBT3 BDR will be attempting to cover as many events as possible. We're already doing 2-3 shows a week so we'll see how quickly I get burnt out on that. Depending on what time I get home on Sunday I'll do my best to check in on things during the Big Game.
Heck. Do people really want to listen to my nasally wussy sounding voice 4-5 days a week anyway? Probably better think this one out.
Have a great weekend everyone. It's above freezing for the first time in awhile so I hope to be out in the Mustang!!! Super Woot!

Did they really send this to Everyone?
As you are aware, players on Full Tilt Poker experienced several disconnections from our game server last week. We have worked around the clock to make improvements, culminating in a software release today that includes many structural improvements as well as some new game features.
As a sign of appreciation for your patience, we will be crediting your Full Tilt Account with $25 cash in the next 4 to 6 hours.
Please note, this payment does not replace any previous compensation requests being reviewed by Support. Situations where players were directly affected by the disconnections are being evaluated on a case by case basis, and any requests sent to Support will be answered separately.
As an additional reward for your loyalty, we are also offering you a special bonus of $300.
To activate this bonus, log in to your Full Tilt Poker Account between now and 23:59 ET on March 11 and click "Check my bonus offer..." under the "Requests" menu.
Once you have accepted your offer, you will then have exactly 21 days to clear your full bonus amount. For every Full Tilt Point you earn, $0.06 of your bonus account will be cleared. Each $20 you clear will be moved from your bonus account to your real money account. You can check your status at any time by clicking the 'Bonus Account' button in the Cashier.
Again, we apologize for the problems you experienced and we thank you for your patience.
Sincerely,
Full Tilt Poker
I was disconnected several times but never lost anything due to it. Free money!!! Now I guess I'll have to try to clear the bonus as well.
Last night we had a good time BDR. Fun stuff with Hoy and ScottMc. Sorry but no show tonight or Sunday due to me being busy so I'll be back on the air next Tuesday. If anyone else wants to do a show during any of these time they just need to contact me and I can show you how. It's fairly easy if you've already been on the air with us before. buddy@buddydank.com if interested.
EDIT! HOLY SHIT! TOURNAMENT DOLLARS???!! ON FTP??!!!! Things are getting interesting. Very interesting!

Ok no more brag posts.
Bodonkey and Skillz games tonight.
Make sure and check out BDR tonight as I imagine someone will be broadcasting.
And tomorrow on BDR during the Mookie we will be talking to Hoy about his latest big score and victory in the 50-50. Other guests will be announced soon.
Speaking of the 50-50, my main man Emptyman went deep last night. Woot woot!
Oh yeah! I'm working on editing past BDR shows for download. Here is the first one from last weeks Bodog/Skillz games.

7th place in the Mookie ain't so bad
Cash games have settled down a bit as I've been barely breaking even. Aces cracked at least 3 times has me tilting a bit but I'm trying to keep my cool. As long as I stay in my limits I should be fine. Maybe I'll try a larger MTT tonight.
EDIT! THE WAFFLES SCHOOL OF BANKROLL MANAGEMENT IS THE NUTZ!!! Cashed out half my bankroll and promptly opened a 2/4NL table with my remaining $200. 4 or 5 orbits of folding and I double up with this. WOOT!
Wednesday, February 20, 2008
Do you like Canada?
I'm still devoting time to cash games on FT and have had a decent run at things. It's been awhile since I was hitting flops like this.
See you tonight at the Mook!
Tuesday, February 19, 2008
Raise your hand if you tugged one out to the new nekkid pics of Ms Lohan
And what I mean by that is that BuddyDank is playing poker again. I'd only played a small number of times this year as my bankrolls were non exsistant. But now with a win on PS in Saturdays with Dr Pauly and some new ad revenue to beef up my FT roll I'm back!
So what would you do with the new 'found' money on FT? Yep, open a cash game table way above your bankroll! That's what I did. Went to a 3/6NL table with $250, played 2 orbits folding everything and then found cowboys in middle position. Some retard bet at the 10 high flop and I pushed. Turns out his pocket 8's weren't so great and I almost double my bankroll in 15 minutes! Woot! I got out of there quick and have been playing some lower level cash games ever since. The previous post was a hand from a 1/2NL game that I bet the whole way with out him raising. Serves him right for not raising me on the turn.
Tonight should be fun! Bodonkey and Skillz games will be kickin' it and BDR will be Live On Air to cover both events. Tragedy has been working on lining up the special guests so we'll see what happens with that but either way we'll have some entertainment for y'all.
Tune in tonight starting around 9pm EST.

How to Win at Poker 101
2 - Don't deposit. Have someone back you for the game.
3 - Run out of weed.
See! It's as easy as 123!
So yeah, I won the Saturday with DrPauly game on PokerStars PLO. I guess I got some good cards but since I don't play omaha I'm not sure what I would get normally. Got heads up with Bayne and took most of his chips with a turned boat against boat setup. Mine's Bigger! Thanks to Schleppy for the stake and to Pauly for hosting.

Mystery Chocolates
I ate them! And since I'm typing this right now you can assume they were fine which they were. I didn't really think anything was done to them but how was I to know for sure who left them or what they might contain. What a rush! Not really...
April seems to think they were left so I would contact my ex and at least for a moment be back in her life. So I'm choosing not to call her or anything of the sort. A dick move? Whatever.
IT was able to take over the station last night and do a broadcast mostly without me. This is great!!!! I always had hopes that there could be broadcast on nights that I'm not available or to burnt out to do. So thank you Tragedy for taking that next step with BDR. I love it!
Still working on some sound quality issues but for what it takes to make this happen I can deal with a little sound degradation.
Still working on a show for Sundays with ScottMc so I'll post the times when that's figured out. And you can't miss the shows next week. Tragedy has lined up a brand new guest for Tuesday that I know you will all love. I won't ruin Tragedy's surprise though so you'll have to wait until he makes the announcement. I believe we are also going to have Smokkee on the show as well so it should make for good times.
I need to put 'make a weekly/monthly schedule for BDR' on my list of things to do. Hell I might even get most of my stuff done if my stash doesn't get replenished soon.

Valentine Schmalentine
I have several goals to achieve this week.
1. Work on the damn website and start putting up material even if it's just a little.
2. Backup and fix mis tagged music files so it's easier to search my library.
3. Get even more music. I'd like to have 20,000+.
4. Get my chat banned on FT for kicks. What are they going to do? Take my $1!
I have high hopes of finishing most of this by the end of the weekend. My new computer is cooking right along and will save me tons of time. I just need to get fucking started and get off my lazy pot smoking ass.
Last night was a more mellow controlled show on BDR. Thanks to DrJ for coming on to talk to me about his trip to Australia. No there weren't drunken hordes on the air slamming other bloggers and making sexual advances toward coworkers but I had a great time. But perhaps future guest will be limited to an hour of air time to keep things moving.
ScottMc is going to be hosting the show on Sunday to cover all the majors going on that day. I'll put up more info like what time and shit as we figure it out more. And then I plan on having another show Tuesday during the Bodonkey and Skillz games, as well as the regular Wednesday Mookie show.
Wow! I really hope we can find enough material for all these shows. If not, I'll just get drunk.

My ass hurts
I have to thank ScottMc, MiamiDon and April for joining me on BDR last night. It's always fun to get fresh voices for the broadcasts and April was great! I need to get an all women show going. That would be the nutz! Or? eh nevermind...I've been working on lining up 2 new guests for tonights show but have no official confirmation from either of them. But don't worry I'll find something for the show tonight. Plus I have high hopes that Tragedy will be there and he's chatty enough to fill 6 hours let alone just 3.
Any listeners out there that are interested in being on the show sometime, just let me know by either IM'ing me on Yahoo at cracksmokingrobot or shoot me an email buddy@buddydank.com.
Tune In Tonight!

BDR, Bodonkey and Skillz!
Joining me will be everyone's 2 favorite guest hosts SCOTTMC AND MIAMIDON!!!!
Tune in or you won't be able to hear what they say about you!!!
I'm QUITTING!!!
Get this! And I wasn't even in this hand but it still just grinds my gears.
2 players see the flop for a minimal amount. Flop is AK8 rainbow. First donk bets and donk number 2 min raises back. Smooth call by 1 and the turn is another Ace. 1 leads out again, 2 raises and 1 responds by going all in for much more than the pot. So 2 tanks on this for about 2 or 3 minutes and finally calls. 1st donk has pocket 8's for a flopped set and turned boat. We all figure donk 2 has an Ace that he couldn't lay down but he won't turn up his cards. Whatever. So the river is ANOTHER Ace. What does donk 2 turn up? POCKET FUCKING 9'S!!! Are you kidding? Really? This was less than 10 minutes into the tourney and he calls off all his chips on that fucking board. Well he takes down that pot with the river Ace and manages to take most of my chips shortly after when my turned flush is noo goot against the river four flush top pair donkeyness.
Question on etiquette for ya. If you win the pot, should you be required to show BOTH your cards? I mean seriously how is this a problem with people. I got into it with a guy who showed one of his cards that made him a straight to beat his opponents over pair. I wanted to see what he was playing with and he put up a fuss about showing his cards. At a casino they absolutely require it but shouldn't it be just common practice EVERYWHERE!!!??? I wasn't accusing the guy of cheating but he took it that way. Bunch of fucking pussies I tell ya.
So that's it. I'm quitting my home game for at least a month maybe more. I'd rather play cash at the local casino then bang my head into a table for 3 hours every other Monday. Fuck it!
Now on to other things.
I'll be playing in the Bodog tonight and am again thinking of doing a radio broadcast if anyone is interested. I won't make it to the Skillz game because I'm a bankroll genius and I need to work on BDR website material. One game of poker is enough of a distraction.
Still working on who will be the guest for tomorrows show. Come back tomorrow and find out bitches! Wait, I mean retards!
EDIT: Check out Dr J's update I missed from last week!

I suck! OK?
The main reason I didn't get much done is that I'm having too much darned fun with my new computer. Playing games I couldn't run on the old box, downloading new ones and even getting some new porn. Gotta have plenty of good porn for Valentines Day.
No MATH for me tonight as I must extract some cold hard cash from my home game. Peace out RETARDS!!(this is my new favorite word as it has been determined the foulest word in the history of the English language by FTP)
FREE CRACKNACES!!!!!

Mookie is on BDR TONIGHT!!!
Great fun last night on BDR during the Skillz and Bodonkey games. CK got pretty lucky that Waffles did not win. If you missed the show, we had setup a prop bet between CK and Waffles that if Waffles won CK would have to send him a nekkid picture of herself. For most of the game it looked like his chances were slim but at the final table he really took off. Thank goodness for Waffles usually blowing his load too early as he finished in second place and gets no nudies now. Oh and he has to pay CK some moolah for buy ins or something. Good stuff.
Now! Tonight we have another great show lined up with the namesake himself on the show! MOOKIE MOOKIE MOOKIE!!! Hopefully Tragedy will be able to be there as well but I've got some other extra special guests lined up as well so it should be a full fun filled fantastic time!
TUNE IN!
I've also started rebroadcasting the shows the next day around noon. So if you missed it and still want to hear all the crap we come up with then tune in the next day while you're at work. Right now I'm playing last nights show and there are actually a couple people listening. Soon I'll have them for download as podcasts. I know I keep saying that but I'm really close to being done for realz.
Got some special brownies for tonight too!! WOOT!

Hungover but Happy
Good times.
I did it! I broke down and ordered all the parts I need for a new computer. For you computer nerds our there, here are the specs.
Intel E8400 3ghz Core 2 duo 45nm
Asus P5N-D Motherboard
4gigs of DDR2 800
Antec P182se Case
500gb sata 300 HD
(no graphics card yet as I can't afford the one I want)
This machine will eat my old one for breakfast and shit it back out before noon. It will also make things run much more smoothly during BDR broadcasts. All the parts won't make it here before Wednesday so we'll have to use the old setup 1 more week.
MATH tonight! I may have to try to win a token after work and get in the game tonight. You should too!!!

LOST
About the episode, I thought it was great. I'm loving the flash forwards and can't wait for more. Hurley showing up at the cabin with Locke and Jacob in the rocking chair!!! OMG!!! I want more of that storyline and NOW! Hurley can see Jacob too?!! I get so wrapped up in the drama sometimes. The death of Charlie got to me last year and it kicked right back in last night. I love emotional rollercoaster it puts my brain on. But damn it I've always liked Jacks character but what the hell is with him lately. Pulling the trigger on Locke??? What? Completely and utterly out of character and unnecessary. Overall I thought it was one of the best episodes I'd seen in awhile. There were a few stinkers last season that had me wondering if I would continue to be the Lost crazed nut I have become.
Man I love having something to look forward to each week like this. With the number of posts I've seen today regarding Lost, maybe we need to have a blogger Lost blog where us bigger fans can discuss such things away from our so called poker blogs. Just a thought.
The time has finally come where I HAVE to upgrade my home computer. Wednesday was the last straw for me as I had constant problems throughout the broadcast and could not have everyone on air that I wanted too. If things with BDR are going to continue and get better then I will have to keep raising the bar every week, and right now I'm pretty much topped out. Not sure how long it will take me to piece together something better but let's hope it's not more then a couple weeks. Jeez, I better start playing more poker again so I can pay for the damn thing.
Football! Eh? Not sure how much I care but it's the second to last game of the season I can even watch so I'm wondering if anyone I know is having a party. Actually I don't think I know any Giants or Patriots fans so Sunday could be time spent at the local sports bar paying way too much for drink just for the atmosphere. GO GIANTS! FUCK THE PATRIOTS!
Might need to relax to a little $1 rebuy action tonight at the Donkarama. You should too.
EDIT: Oh yeah and it appears I have a Facebook account that I don't remember creating. But you bloggers keep adding me so I get the emails. And I obviously did create it since my most common password worked to login. I do funny things online when fucked up I guess. Facebook! HA!
